Timmerhus builds log and timber structures at our yards in Boulder, Colorado and Limington, Maine for assembly anywhere.

We maintain a dedicated design office (under the supervision of Ed Shure and Ed Levin), and can provide full design services in house, or collaborate with project architects to supply timber design and structural analysis.

We do our most successful work when we have a seat at the design table, and believe that the best built environments result from the joint involvement of and close cooperation between client, designer/builder and architect. Our work brings to bear broad experience of historical and international carpentry together with a precise knowledge of the behavior, weathering and natural forms of wood.
