The high altitude site mandated an accelerated construction schedule. We put together a consortium of timber frame shops to get the job done on time, and the timbers for the 148-foot long aisled barn were cut in only three months. Our design office produced some 500 individual stick drawings, enabling us to acquire, cut and ship 1,250 pieces of timber directly to the job site. The shop drawing process was essential for efficient, cost effective performance of this complex work.
