Alleghany Mine House
Site: Mountain Village, Telluride, Colorado. Elevation 9,995 ft.
The Project: 2,200-square-foot ski house on a steep and narrow site accessed by an entry bridge in the form of an iconic San Juan Mountains mining structure.
Materials/Method: Timberframe of patinated Douglas Fir.
Services Provided: Timber detailing and construction.
