Crystal River
Site: Almont, Colorado. Elevation 8,026 ft.
The Project: 3,000-square-foot National Park vernacular hideaway for a couple’s riverfront site.
Materials/Methods: Log-timber hybrid built of two-foot-diameter standing-dead Engelmann Spruce logs and Douglas Fir salvaged from a Great Salt Lake, Utah trestle.
Services Provided: Design development, log and timber design and construction.
