Ed’s Old House
Site: Nederland, Colorado. Elevation 8,145 ft.
The Project: 2,200-square-foot home and workshop of Timmerhus’s principal, Ed Shure.
Materials/Methods: Built of natural and salvaged materials, including birds-eye maple basketball flooring and timbers that had been used to shore up nearby Barker Dam.
Services Provided: Architectural design and construction.
