Glacier Lake Lodge
Site: Nederland, Colorado. Elevation 8,145 ft.
The Project: English-cottage-meets-National-Park-vernacular for an 800-square-foot getaway nestled within the ruined stone walls of a lodge whose construction was abandoned during the Great Depression.
Materials/Methods: White Pine timberframe with salvaged Fir and windblown braces.
Services Provided: Architectural design and construction.
