Site: Gold Hill, Colorado. Elevation 8,428 ft.
The Project: Year-round log home with eclectic European influence for a Welsh designer and his young family.
Materials/Methods: Built principally of found or salvaged materials, including Victorian-era tin shingles, logs from the Yellowstone fire, a 300-year-old limestone fireplace.
Includes Timmerhus windows and doors made of recycled Douglas Fir.
Services Provided: Log and timber design and construction and general contracting.
